Well, born 1975 in Breda, the Netherlands and actually called Geert-Jan van Trijp (my mother likes double names). I grew up in the little village of Zundert close to the Belgian border. Spent a lot of my youth in and around the transport company of my parents.
That made my choice for studies simple, logistics, which I studied in Venlo, the Netherlands and later Germany and the UK. After graduation, I started working in Germany, but through the UK I landed in Sweden and would have been here a year.
However during that year, I met my wife and now, over 10 years later, I am still here. Not working in logistics anymore, but got drawn into the wonderfull world of ERP systems and SAP and am now working for one of Swedens leading SAP consultancy, Implema.
In my freetime, I try after a couple of years of focussing on work, to have a fresh start to start enjoying life a bit more. First steps in this are to lose weight, and to do some activities I have planned, but haven't done the last few years. See the blog and some of the other pages to find out more.
