First trip done

Well, finally made my first bike trip yesterday after picking it up. Drove 140 km already through the countryside.




Linköping-linghem-eksund-skärblacka-rimforsa-finspång-igelfors-sonstorp-finspång-svärtinge was the run.

What a feeling! And a bit scary actually...

A new toy

Well, after passing my license yeasterday, I could not help myself and visited the bikeshop in Linköping. After a lot of looking around and hesitating, I went out of there the owner of a Kawasaki ER6N. Got a good deal on a 2012 model with ABS etc. Delivery on friday !

A simple bike that is very suitable for a new rider. A 2 cylinder 600. Not the biggest or fastest in the world, but a good starting point i hope.

Can't wait until friday !

Passed my bike license this morning.


Now up to the bikeshop to see what they offer.

State of the garden

Today did some more garden work. More plants are in, gras is sown, weeds are gone (for now :( )

Well, feels as if the work is paying of. If only it grows as expected and we can keep up with cleaning we should be ok.

Wm ice hockey - Sweden-italy

Spent yesterday evening at globen in stockholm where the world chanpionship icehockey is being played.

Last week when we bought garden stuff, we got tickets. So i invited jennys dad to go.

Had a great time. Lots of atmosphere!

And sweden beat italy by 4-0

Grabbhalvan 2012

Well, ran my first official run today. Grabbhalvan is a 5 km run in norrköping.

Got round in 31.33 and finished with my 3 girla cheering at the spectator stand. Of course it was raining...

Anyway, 1150 out of 1500 runners. Still, 31,33 is a quick time for me with my short legs.

Gardenwork

Spent the day working in the garden.


Spring has started











Set up screens in front of the house. Now let's get some plants in there.








Cleaned up a big part of the height nect to the house. Loads of weeds there.. Now we're going to put gras on there. About half done !

Just had a good dinner, pork-stew with thyme. Now tired and longing for a relaxing evening. All in all a good day.

Weight 2012 - week 1

Well, the first week went by and i'm not too happy about it.

Motivation tanked, no training and not the best foodwise. Can't explain why, but it is so hard just now to focus and resist temptation. Thing is, the food and snacks that go in extra are not that good. Not worth it.

Today started better. Got myself out of the house in wonderfull weather and ran 8,3 km. That's a record distance for me !

Now, let'a make this a good day, tomorrow also etc...

And we're back with weight 2012

Hi all,

Well, not a lot of action here the last couple of months. After a really good trip with my weight in 2011, things did not go so good beginning of this year. Developments at work (project kilos) and home have made me go up in weight during the first 3,5 months. Sure, I have had a lot of good days, but also a lot (and maybe most) bad days. Keep finding myself in front of the fridge at night.. Not a good thing at all.

On a good note, I have managed to start running again and actually ran 7 km's on tuesday evening. Have even put myself up for a local race on the 10th of may. Will run "Grabbhalvan" in Norrköping, a 5 km run. Not a super long distance, but the first time for me doing something like that.. Excited !

Anyway.. I'm now back with Weight 2012. Starting point is a proper 93 kg this morning. This will have to be down to under 80 by the summer again.. So, running, eating healthy and no snacks/night food etc... Let's do this !

Made whoopie pies this afternoon with Elin. First time baking for me. Quite chuffed with the result.

Confusing

Saw this yesterday evening when I got out of the shop. Left or right was the question.

It turned out to be the one on the right !

Not often that you have exactly the same car parked next to you. Same colour, same wheels, same interior !
